My beauty routine to fight the cold
My beauty routine to fight the cold Winter is approaching and your skin has to overcome many tests: temperature changes, wind, snow, clothing rubbing ... it is vulnerable. The cold attacks it by taking it directly to the protective barrier of the epidermis: the hydrolipidic film. It tightens, tingles and becomes dry, so it is important to take great care of it.To help you overcome the cold, we have put together a special tailor-made “very cold” routine for you.1. Make-up removal is not a problem The make-up removal box is the starting point to protect and preserve your skin. Yes yes, we promise! So we don't forget this essential step. Cleansing and cleansing the skin eliminates the impurities accumulated throughout the day and thus the hydrolipidic film is not damaged. Otherwise, the pores become blocked and the skin no longer breathes. This is why it is advisable to clean your pretty face morning and evening, whether you are wearing make-up ... or not! At this time of year, we opt for "gentle" makeup removers, which will not attack the epidermis. So prefer an oil or cleansing milk, richer and nourishing for the skin than a classic makeup remover. We do not give up our face scrub. However, its use is limited to once a week, to avoid weakening the epidermis.Tips : Hard water also attacks the skin. Do not hesitate to spray a few pschitts of water spray on your face to remove the last lime residue after cleansing! 2. We double the hydration of our skin Dry, irritated skin, tightness, redness: here are the effects of cold on the face. So, to give it a boost, adopt the right hydration reflexes now! In the morning, opt for intensely rich, ultra-hydrating creams with a cocooning texture, even if you have combination to oily skin. In the evening, apply a night treatment or succumb to the trend of the "sleeping mask" to nourish, restore suppleness and radiance to your skin. The must: for a deep action, massage in circular movements for better penetration of the active ingredients. Your skin will thank you!Tips : For an extra dose of hydration, apply a mask 2 to 3 times a week to soothe and deeply nourish your skin.3. You don't forget your hands ! The face is not alone in facing winter aggressions. Hands are often overlooked when they also need to be hydrated. Constantly in demand, they are even the first to suffer from negative temperatures. With the cold, the natural barrier of the epidermis degrades further, it dries up and the small capillaries contract, causing tightness and cracking. It is therefore essential to pamper your handcuffs regularly during the day. Beyond daily comfort, moisturizing your hands is also boosting cell regeneration and protecting them. And above all ... we don’t forget to put on gloves before going out!4. You don't neglect your bodyDuring winter, to warm up, we tend to bask in a good invigorating bath / shower. However, hot water attacks the protective layers of the epidermis and has the opposite effect: the skin dries up. To avoid this, choose a "soft" glycerin-based washing product to protect it and hydrate it further. Also do not hesitate to perform a body scrub in the shower once a week to remove dead skin, to allow better penetration of your favorite body milk, for maximum hydration!Tips : Because the hair is also sensitized (rubbing of the cap, the scarf which makes it brittle, dry and flattened), we put on nutritious care to restore strength and shine. Oil pre-shampoo, nourishing mask, care lengths and ends, will be your allies to fight hair dehydration! Finally, we think of drinking at least 1.5 liters of water per day, an essential step to maintain beautiful skin, whatever the season.

This closes and smoothes the cuticle to leave your hair looking even shinier! Avoid drying hair using applicances at high temperatures which would otherwise damage hair.Did you know? Argan Oil is harvested from the argan tree, found in Southwest Morocco, also known as “the tree with a thousand virtues”. Approximately 40kg of fruit is needed to produce one liter of oil. As a result, the maximum annual production is 4,000 tonnes. Each year, an argan tree produces between 12 and 30kg of fruit, which makes Argan Oil both rare and precious!

Sun, heat, chlorine.... in the summer your hair is constantly being mistreated. In addition, we often neglect our usual haircare routine during the holidays and leave our hair to do its own thing. And given that there is no question of coming back with lackluster hair, here are a few tips to revitalize your hair in just 3 steps :I. Take advantage of an oil soakIf your hair is looking coarse, it is because it is lacking in lipids, its cuticles are untamed and it looks impassively dull. Treat it to an ultra-intense treatment by enveloping it in a botanical oil: revived hair is guaranteed! Choose an oil rich in Vitamin E and Fatty Acids which will intensely nourish the hair fiber. The ideal: Argan Oil which is suitable for all types of hair and provides effective protection against aggression. How? Apply all along the lengths to the ends of dry hair, leave to work for 10 minutes (or all night long if your hair needs an intensive treatment), then, in the morning, proceed to wash as normal. The right amount? 5 to 6 pumps for mid-length hair. Add 2 pumps for long hair. There is no point using more than necessary as the nourishing effect will remain the same.II. Apply a suitable maskLong or short, colored or not, your hair deserves the right care. Use a hair mask at least once a week to replenish it deep down. Opt for rich and creamy textures to nourish intensely. First apply your shampoo in the shower. While your mask is applied you can take advantage of the time to apply your body products. The right technique: apply a generous amount to the ends of clean, towel-dried hair then using a wide-toothed comb, spread the mask through the lengths, which will make detangling easier.III. Use a daily moisturizing care Just like your face, your hair also needs a daily moisturizer. To tame frizz, repair the ends or enhance shine, apply a small amount of product to damp or dry hair, then spread using your hands. The texture instantly melts into the hair fiber and leaves it perfectly silky. Your hair is easy to detangle and style, and recovers its natural beauty.

Evoluderm founder, Nathalie Aiach, is a passionate person who lives and breathes for her company and her brand. She embodies and describes it perfectly. Can you tell us about Evoluderm? For Gabriel, my husband, and I, Evoluderm is like one of our children, and we put our heart and soul into it. We have always worked in cosmetics and used to make them for other brands. When we decided to launch our own brand, we wanted first and foremost to create an attractive French brand that was high quality and accessible to everyone. A brand that we would be proud of. This is why we manufacture in France and don’t put any price constraint on the formulas or packaging when we start designing a new product. For my part, I like sourcing noble and natural ingredients, like shea, argan and precious oils. Our packaging needs to be colorful and beautiful so that our clients want to touch our products and are also proud to show them off in their bathroom. And finally, they need to be generous in form and format so that the whole family can enjoy them. I am very demanding with regards to the quality of our formulas and the aesthetic of the products, and I would never allow a product to go on sale that I wouldn’t use myself. What is your role in the company?Since the beginning I have been in charge of product design. As I’m very curious, I spend my time observing the market, keeping an eye on the latest products as well as what’s happening in cosmetics on social media. I’ve got an eye for a trend. So, I can see what consumers are looking for and that gives me endless ideas, not just for the types of products needed but also for the visual design. At the beginning, Gabriel formulated the products and I designed the packaging. Nowadays, we’re more structured. We have an integrated research and development laboratory and design studio.Have you left this mission to others? Not at all! I get 20,000 ideas a minute, I couldn’t keep them to myself! Let’s say I can see things with a more detached eye, I’ve got a more global view. So, I work closely with the Marketing department. Every morning, I visit the lab, I test every formula sample, every fragrance sample, even the most unlikely! My bathroom is full of small vials and jars of products that are still in development... But in particular, I can’t avoid keeping a close eye on the visual design. There’s nothing I like more than being in the design studio. Sometimes I sit for hours next to one of the designers while we try out different ideas, look for a typeface, a color, an image. How do you work?Above all, I’m intuitive. I feel things and, as a result, I’ve always found it easy to put these into words. But I also know what I do and don’t want. And as I’m quite headstrong, when I don’t “feel” a creation I can have it reworked over and over again until I’m sure it matches my vision of Evoluderm and its future development. The fact that our brand is called “Evoluderm” is because it’s constantly evolving. It’s like me. I like action, I like progress and for things to be constantly on the move. What are you influenced by?In the case of the creation of the products themselves, the constant exchanges with clients and the sales team are very important. Listening to them gives you the clearest idea of the field, of what is expected and what is needed by today’s consumer. Travel is also a huge source of inspiration. It’s one of the things I love the most and it leaves me with memories of beautiful colors and beautiful meetings with people I never return unmoved from a trip away. I always bring back new ideas (products, ingredients, benefits, etc.).What mark do you like to put on the products you create?I like modernity and simplicity. It’s important to me that each of our ranges has its own universe, specific design and unique identity. We play with contrasts, white, bright or pastel colors, bring in a graphic element that will create a twist, like our Surgras range where we introduced fluorescent colors while positioning it in the world of parapharmacies. It’s this detail that can change everything, make all the difference. Sometimes, I stay there, I say nothing, I observe, and my teams, who know me well, understand there is something that we haven’t yet found and that I’m going to stay until we find it. I never get angry because conflict doesn’t solve anything. I stay there, as if to say “Don’t worry”, it’ll take time, but we‘ll get there.Do you also manage the Evoluderm social networks?I love that! Like many people, I’m permanently connected on my Smartphone and that enables me to see what is being said about the brand in real time. I’m always ecstatic when I discover an influencer’s publication or a new article about us. I’m always looking for new ideas for how the brand can be present, visible, vibrant. I get a lot of pleasure from that !You like working in a positive atmosphere. Our business is like our second home and the staff are like members of the family. We are still quite a small company. Each morning, I go by every office and say hello to everyone. I like smiling, I like working in a positive atmosphere. I laugh all the time because I’m lucky to love my work and who I work with. What’s more, I can’t imagine not working in a team. The opinion of those we work with is essential for moving forward. Because here, there aren’t bosses and employees. Everyone can make suggestions, make a contribution and move the brand forward. It’s essential that the feeling is shared by the people around me, that the people I work with are happy and that we have complete and reciprocal trust. This is what feeds my creativity and then I can pass on my desire to create to my teams. It seems that my energy and positive mood are communicative. So much the better!
